Giavotella remembers first meeting with Jeter

Johnny Giavotella grew up as a Derek Jeter fan.  The 2005 Jesuit grad who led the Blue Jays to a pair of state championships, including pitching a complete game against Destrehan in the title game in 2005, made his Major League debut with Kansas City on August 5, 2011. St. Augustine won for the fifth straight time, picking up a 64-42 road win at Brother Martin. Louisiana-Lafayette bound Bryce Washington was a force in the paint for the Purple Knights scoring a game-high 22 points, with unofically close to 20 rebounds.
