On a night where football was played on a baseball field, Patriots junior running back Marquese Albert turned out to be the “diamond in the rough” helping John Curtis to a 26-9 win over Brother Martin in front of over 10,000 fans at the first football game at Zephyr Field. A 2-yard run by West Jefferson quarterback Zaayir Williams with less than a minute remaining rallied the Buccaneers to a 25-20 triumph over winless Shaw on Friday night at Hoss Memtas Stadium.
