Brother Martin won its fourth consecutive game with a 41-0 blanking of Shaw in Catholic League action Saturday at Hoss Memtsas Stadium. The Crusaders (6-3 overall, 3-2 in District 9-5A) scored on all six of their first-half possessions while rolling up 312 yards of total offense in the game. St. Augustine built a lead of 20-0 but had to hold off a late Holy Cross rally for a 34-31 Catholic League victory over the Tigers on Friday at Zephyr Field. Trailing 34-17, Holy Cross quarterback Chandler Fields tossed touchdown passes of 24 yards to Albion Ford and 25 yards to Kym Wimberly. Jesuit running back Connor Prouet accounted for six touchdowns as the Blue Jays cruised to a 56-21 non-district win over Franklin on Friday night at Tad Gormley Stadium. John Curtis clinched at least a share of its first Catholic League title with a 31-17 win Saturday over Rummel at Joe Yenni Stadium. Curtis moved to 8-0 overall, including 5-0 in District 9-5A.
