Brother Martin senior shortstop Gregory Deichmann has been named the Louisiana Baseball High School Player of the Year.
The LSU signee, Deichmann hit .354 with a Brother Martin single-season record 11 home runs. He also had a .854 slugging percentage and finished his career with 22 home runs for the Crusaders.
