Photo by: Bill Arthurs Rummel's Darryl McDaniel (6) comes up with a tackle for a Raiders defense that pitched a second half shutout on the way to a 17-10 Homecoming victory over Jesuit.

Sparked by a pair of second quarter touchdown passes from Jacob Palma to JaMarr Chase and a dominating defense, Rummel kept its perfect season alive with a 17-10 Homecoming win over Jesuit.

Jesuit took a 7-3 lead in the second quarter on a 39-yard touchdown pass from Denny McGinnis to Conner Prouet.

Rummel answered with the two Palma-to-Chase touchdown strikes, the first going for 39 yards, the second from 27 yards out.

The Blue Jays added a 26-yard field goal from Jake Chanove to cut the lead to 17-10. Thanks to the Raiders defense, it would get no closer.

In fact, that would close out the scoring.

Two second half interceptions from Rummel's Jakobi Jones, the second in the end zone with under two minutes remaining helped seal the victory.

Rummel is now 6-0 overall, 3-0 in Catholic League Play.

Jesuit slips to 3-4 overall and 1-3 in the Catholic League.
