Holy Cross standout guard Greg White-Pittman made it official, signing his National Letter of Intent to continue his career at North Texas.
“North Texas because I feel it’s a perfect fit for me, and I have a lot of family in the Dallas area so it’s a great fit,” said White-Pittman. “My game is up-tempo, up-and-down not really half-court. I can play in it (half-court) but I prefer to play up-and-down, and that’s the type of style they play.”
The 6-2 guard was named the Catholic League MVP and the Class 5A Louisiana Player of the Year averaging 25.6 points and 5.5 rebounds a game.
“They’re getting a special guy who works had,” said Holy Cross coach Mister Kirkwood. “He was like a man out there. I mean every game we played he was just determined to get us wins. In order for us to be as successful as we were, he had to give us a Herculean effort, and he did that. He’s a gym rat, they’re going to have to give him a key.”
